I went for a hike last Monday morning and kind of got lost....I hiked 2.5 hours in the wrong direction before I realized what I had done, so I guess I will just have to try it again another morning, here are the spiders I shared the trail with, they had little sparkling specks on their heads so I didn't step on them in the dark:

and here is me showing me where the real Timpanooke trail starts.....yes, it was at the very beginning that I took the wrong trail and followed the spiders up the wrong mountain and ran into the wrong road....that is when I decided to turn back and start over again, but it was getting too late and I had enough fun for one morning.

Holy huge arachnid, Batman! Yikes. How thoughtful of them to sparkle so you could avoid large quantities of spidy guts on your boots.

Hey Molly, did you ever read Girl of the Limberlost? It seems no matter where you go in nature, you appreciate whatever you happen upon.
